Baptist Witness creates new daily paper - News - Ocala.com

The management of the Baptist Witness, a weekly Sunday-school newspaper, issued the first number of a new general newspaper in Ocala, called the Daily Star, on June 19, 1895. The long-standing Ocala Banner only noted that “it was a corker.”
